SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Sunday School classes meet each Sunday morning at 10 AM in their respective classrooms for prayer, study, and discussion. If you wish to visit or learn more about one of these groups, please reach out to one of the leaders listed below (or ask Scott.)

Christian education is a vitally foundational part of the discipleship process. Joining a Sunday School class is a great way to become more connected with other Christians and with Jesus. We would love for you to try one of these groups.

"That Class"

You read that right! “That Class” is our group that anyone can join, regardless of their background. This is a safe place where you can ask hard questions and expect to receive real, Biblical answers amongst friends.  Whatever your gender, age, or style, this is the class for you! They meet in "that classroom." Leader: John Shraeder

Faithful Workers

These women are seriously sold out to God! Whether it’s studying God’s word together, serving the homebound of our community, or engaging people around the world with the Gospel, the Faithful Workers are the heartbeat of our congregation. You can join them in their classroom. Leaders: Lucy Finn and Wanda Van Cleave.

Men's Bible Study

Our men’s class is a group known for their love of God and our neighbors. If you are a guy who enjoys serving others, studying Scripture, and pursuing Jesus alongside other men, this is the class for you! Join them in our church’s fellowship hall. Leaders: Troy Cutbirth and Bob Mackie

Young Adults

This class serves young people who have graduated from high school and are beginning the next phase of life, whether that is higher education, the work force, or military service. You will find this group to be friendly and informal, but also spiritually sensitive and devoted to God's Word. Leader:  David Harper

Catalyst

If you're a high school or junior high student, this is the class for you. Together the students in Catalyst seek to answer the question, "How do we read the Bible?" Each week this is a safe space for students to read Scripture together and ask the honest questions about how it applies to everyday life. The goal of the class is to teach students how to read and understand the Bible for themselves! You are welcome to join anytime in the youth room. Leaders: Colin and Grace Pittman

Children's Sunday School

The Kingdom of God belongs to those who depend fully upon God like a child. We take this seriously at Golinda First  Baptist Church! If you have a child who who wants to learn more about Jesus, we have a wonderful group of volunteers who know Him and want to introduce the next generation to Him!  They meet throughout our church. Leader: Wanda Ray
