Service is the hallmark of our deacon body. They are here to serve the church, not to run it. They are spiritual leaders who serve in a variety of ways. You may find them teaching a Sunday school class, stacking chairs in the fellowship hall, hauling debris off the property, serving the Lord's supper, or any number of other good deeds.
