Stanley is a long-time member of our church family and operates a small farm with his wife, Shawna, near Satin, TX. Stanley and Shawna are vital to the ministry of our church. Although he is a man of few words, when he speaks, he always has something hilarious to say. He is one of our deacons, has a servant’s heart, and a wonderful sense of humor. Stanley is a second-generation music leader, filling the rather sizable shoes left behind by his father, Dennis Birkes, who led worship at our church for many years. He loves riding his horse, working on his farm, and spending time with his family.
